GIMME FIVE!
Okay, so the following are five questions I have never been asked before.
- 1) Why is the PC grossed out by periods? Since the PC girls are totally sophisticated when it comes to clothes and culture, it was a good way for me to remind people that they are still, in some ways, innocent 12 year olds. When I was in the 7th grade anything having to do with the body cracked me up and grossed me out at the same time. During sleepovers, we would look up dirty words in the dictionary, call boys, and read them. Then we’d hang up in fits of hysteria. I know. It was seriously dorky.
- 2) Which one of the characters do you root for the most? I root for all of them because each one has something to learn. Massie may seem like a female dog but she only acts that way because she’s afraid of becoming an LBR. She’s totally insecure. And I want her to get better. Same with the others. Even Nina and her klepto ways. The poor girl needs help.
- 3) Which boy would you have a crush on? Well, I’d like to say Cam because he’s the sweetest and he is the best boyfriend ever. But knowing me I’d probably pick Derrington the goofball because I am a sucker for anyone who can make me laugh.
- 4) If you could go back and do anything over again in your life what would it be? Two things.a) I would have been a better student. I had a hard time concentrating in class and I kind of treated everything like one big joke. I wish I studied more. b) I wouldn’t have let my high school boyfriend walk all over me. Yes, he was cute (and wore Drakkar Noir just like Cam. Coincidence? I don’t think so.) But I should have given him a pointy boot in the butt much sooner than I did.
- 5) Are the dates in your book real? Because the last time September 8th fell on a Tuesday it was 1998. Um, are you Tila Tequila? Then why are you so into dating? Just kidding. I am impressed that you checked this out. But no, those dates are not based on any particular year. I try to keep things loose so I can reference whatever I want. That’s the beauty of fiction.

loved the questions ppl asked the briarwood boy thing was a nice question i would have picked either kemp or derrington or cam if it was me i like kemp cause hes soooo funny derrington cause hes into shaken his butt and thats something unque and cam cause of his super cute eyes thats unque too! lisi you and me have the same prob. we both look at things as a joke oddly…whenever i do math for a long time in math class everything becomes funny…like everything for entence today andrew was sitting behind me and he started throwing paper at me so i turned around and just stated laughing…andrew strated laughing..and then the teadher was like “stop laughing get back to work!” and so everyone eles stop laughing then i started laughing harder and louder! weird right?

I would totally go for Cam (He reminds me of the guy im crushing on now…speaking of him I got to sit by him today on our field trip!!! srry lol just had to tell someone!) anyway while we were on our field trip we got to go shopping and right when i hit the mall i practically went running to Walden Books to get Bratfest (last copy o ya!) Ive already had about 4 girls ask if they could borrow it after i was done with it lol keep up the good work your my hero! cant wait to find out all about the movie!!!

okay so i was in class today when my *new* cush walked by collin!hes sooo sweet/cute/adorible!! Brown hair brown eyes totally cute!whooops already said that…..wow so girlys should i talk to collin?….but theres 1 little thing..hes a grade higher then me…should i still do it? *sigh* well when he forgot his jacket after school in the class i ran to give it to him..and right when i typed his shoulder to give it to him..i…i..froze up like i was…in a trance and u know what he said? he said are you okkay?

totally go for it the thing that helps me is just relax and pretend hes ur guy friend that ur talkin bout bball with or something..find a common subject between you two (mine and my crushes is sports) and talk to him bout it dont think of him as collin the sexy dark haired ahh-dorable guy that i just LOVE (or however you think of him lol) think of him as Collin the cool guy whos a year ahead of me that likes bball as much as i do (or whatever the common subject is)

alright now girls my turn for help!
i have a crush..well ive had this crush since xmas break (then earlier than that but i stopped liking him then) anyway hes tall (taller than me by bout 4 inches) and athletic dark brown hair and brown eyes..kinda shy until u get to know him then he totally opens up the issue..hes a year YOUNGER than me…eeks anyway eer since andy (one of his friends) found out i like him hes been teasing me bout it everyday infact today our class was talkin bout pizza hut and him and this other kid started sayin that we should get meat LOVERS for me and my crush (embarassing times 10) luckily my crush isnt in that class (thank god) anyway tonight at the game i was sitting wit the seventhgraders and kurstin ended up sittin by my crush and somehow she traded pots with me then nick (my crushes other frined) started tellin me that he liked me and all..then he said that he didnt like me (after my crush elbowed him in the ribs) a lil while after that my crush figured out about the meat lovers thing and freaked out about it..not at me but at andy..(until i told him it was mathew who started the whole thing) then he like avoided me for the rest of the night until i went up to him and asked if he was ok..then all my eight grade friends (lets just say we practically are the pretty commitee) started yellin and stuff like ‘owow alise’ and all (they know i like him) so then i got even more embarresed…so girls what do i do im srry that this was so long but thats how much it took to explain it even more..and before you reply read the next one…

heres the twist in my problem..one of my really good friends from the seventh grade likes the same guy even though she told me she didnt anymore and that i could have him..so ever since me and my crush started hangin out more she hasnt talked to me..what do i do take the ahh-dorable sweet amazing guy that i can talk to and practically love being around and totally lost the friend or try to talk to my friend more about it and get her to be my friend again..and loose the guy? Emma just read ur question kay so ur wondering if you should ask him to the movies well i wouldent cause you dont wanna seem desprate but drop the clues that you wanna go so he can ask you 1st like say: Man i have been wanting to see (whatever movie you wanna see). and if that doesnt work ask this question: Sometime we should go together that would be sooo fun!<—-in that question that you will ask him you not techenicly asken him out so its dif. you dont sound desparat but you sound just right!

Ok well in my mind Cam is really really hot and sweet and sensitive i have a huge crush on him. He is seriously my favorite character! Its a bit sad that I have a crush on a character in a book but i go to a girls school with no boys school around!!! so yeah i wish we had briarwood across the street (or in the building but that would kinda defeat the whole purpose of a girls school soo yeah)but anyway great questions everyone. Dear Lisi Harrison,
Okay you will probably be really bored by this loooooong note but I really wanted to write to you.
In like August my friend imed me this website and said she auditioned for this movie. She told me to give her a ten. I had no idea what the movie was or anything. I watched her audition and gave her a ten. I soon realized that the auditions were for this movie that was being made based on the clique series. I got The clique at Borders and really liked it. Being caught up in school and homework, I didn’t keep reading the series. But two weeks ago when I was at Borders when Sealed With A Diss caught my eye. I remembered that I had read the first one and decided to try this one (I thought it was the second one). I loved it! When I got to the end on the book I realized that this was actually the latest book!! Oops! My bad. I went on to read Best Friends for Never, Revenge of the WannaBees, Invasion of the Boy Snatchers, The Pretty Committee Strikes Back, Dial L for Loser, and It’s Not Easy Being Mean, loving each one and reading each one in a day. Thus my obsession began! I love the way each book has a huge cliffhanger at the end. Sealed with a Diss had such a big cliffhanger at the end! I couldn’t wait for the next book, Bratfest at Tiffanies, which just so happened to be coming out very soon. It came out yesterday! The whole day at school I was doodling, daydreaming, wondering what would happen next in the series. My mom had gone out and gotten the book for me while I was at school and when I got home I read and read and read until I finished the book. In my opinion, it was the best one so far! I have the calendar from the end of the book taped up on my wall. In two months the next book will be out. I am so excited! Even though I have only read each book once and just started getting into it very recently I’m literally obsessed and my friends and family can tell. I proudly have placed all nine books on my dresser. I told one of my friends about The Clique series and I am going to lend her book 1.
You are such an amazing author I just don’t know where to begin. Your characters are so well described and unique. I have many favorite characters. I like Massie because she is like a genius and she is awesome at comebacks, I like Claire because she reminds me of me a little, shy and insecure (I don’t like how she does stupid things because of how desperate she can get), I like Cam because well in my mind he is as hot a Claire says and because he is nice and sensitive and sweet, I like Dylan cause she is funny, Layne because she is unique and doesn’t care what people think or say about her, and Kristen because she is smart and athletic (Alicia isn’t really one of my favorite characters but I think its cool that she has her own signature words/phrases like “opposite of cool/yes/no/ect.”, “I heart you”, and “point”). Sometimes I hate Massie because she can be so flat out mean but I think she is a really strong person and a really strong character. I love how all the characters are different and unique. It’s so cool how you just thought up all these characters it’s like they are real!
I am a Huh-UGE Clique fan and I can’t wait for the summer series to come out and then P.S I Loath You!!! You are an ah-mayzing author. Im a HUGE fan.

Okay I’m going to tell you guys how I got into The clique series… You might not care, but im going to tell you anywho, lol.
In the 5th grade we had like a Book distribution where you pick ONE book donated by the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization [but you probably knew that]). Me and my friend Destiny saw three of the books. They were The first three i think. Destiny I think got a different book that she wanted but I picked the one I thought would be the most interesting. It was the third one. (I didnt look to see which was the first book). I read it and LOVED IT!!!! Then I got the 2nd one in the 6th grade followed by the 4th. Then I read the 1st one that I borrowed from my other friend Miranda. She really got into them too. So she borrowed all of mine that I had, same with Destiny. Then I got all the others around the week they came out and waited for the next. I now own all but the very 1st one!!! lol.
Okay well this probably bored you so… sorry . LoL.

shocking, i know. loser me. lol. i got bratfest @ tiffanys (which btw.. breakfast at tiffanys is my favorite movie. that and ferris bueller’s day off. im a sucker for old movies. even though im only 13. lol.) the day it came out and finished out in a few hours. without stopping. it was so .. captivating. is that the word im thinking of? lol. i couldnt put it down. most people arent excited about the summer collection.. idk why. but i am ! cant wait. seems exciting. but if it tells what the girls did during the summer, why wouldnt it have come out before bratfest before they started 8th grade? hm. i dont know. oh, and i just wanted to say: in the 7th, 8th, and 9th books, you’re kinda like dropping off the characters slowly. you like, dont mention massies parents, inez, issac, claire’s parents, todd, bean or alot of other characters anymore. i miss them.
i cant even put in words how AMAZING i think you are for writing the clique series (a.k.a my favoriteee book series of life. hahhaa.) ive read every book in the series about three times.

I got into the clique series liek this. I went to Barnes and Nobles.
Anyway, The Pretty Committe Strikes Back, had just came out. It looked cool.
I picked it up and bought it. I never read it. I then bought Dial L for Loser not realizing its the same series.
I checked the inside of Dial L for Loser and saw that TPCS came first.
I read it. Loved it. And read the next one. I went back and forst between the first books and the last books.
I got hooked. Hooked I tell you Hooked!
I wanted to know Lisi, do you talk like the NPC or PC?

kay so got a fabuals idea for valitines day cards what u do is make them yourself dont think thats cheezy cause handmade gifts are the greatest so my fab idea is put on lipstick and kiss the card!!lol dont you love it!! you can use it if you want idc but be sure to pucker up and kiss plastic cards goodbye!this is the new way for valitines day cards i swear!

i have some make-out tips for you i have only kissed a guy 1s and…it was my bestfriend sooo listen to my advise:
practise holding your breathe DO NOT do open mouth kiss on your 1st kiss he will think you want more,and more, and more,ect. kay so then let him go up for air 1st NO MATTER WHAT!!! dont go into fast either to kiss him u might bump heads and it hurts!! be sure to wait for the right moment too dont just do it wait for sometime when its romantic and sweet and u know he wants to kiss you too. cause if he doesnt wanna kiss u and u kiss him…..ooowwwcchhh:bad move.

Well, some of u hav said becuz there was supposed to b a new character in it named Tiffany. Or mayb becuz the trailors r from Tiffany’s. But really, there is an old book called BREAKFAST at Tiffany’s and (tell me if i’m wrong Lisi) Lisi always does the oppsite or spin-off title thingy, so she put BRATFEST at Tiffany’s instead. -srry its been a while since i got on here! i totally loved BAT loved it!!! i almost cried when i got towards the end cuz i didnt want it to be over *tear* lol cant wait till the summer collection comes out!!! (when does it come out anyway?)

well dont worry… i’m in all advance classes this year besides PE (so many stupid 7th graders!!!) and my dad’s my science teacher… and he’s the most hated teacher at the school… and i’m in 8th grade and he’s using the 10th grade book for my class… and i’m too in Alegbra, we have the best teacher ever and their’s 3 advance math classes… but i have the best teacher out of the 2… and for computers i already dont have to take one high school class (even though its all 8th grade most of them are stupid and all my friends are in PE that period while i have PE 3rd. so sucks!!!

oh btw… i dont want to sound stupid or anything but to any of you have any advice for me about the guy i like… see he’s in 10th grade (me-8th) and he doesnt go to my school (nor the high school) he lives in a different town but i still see him at least once a month… any advice on what to do??? b/c he’s always flirting with me and like he smiles and waves and when i saw him on saturday he helped my carry a table to my daddy’s room, but he never talks to me and my new 7th grade BFF, Savanah, gave him a note back on JAn 21 saying i like him.. ugh idk what to do!!!!!

-meghan-hehe sweet! im startin to feel a lil bit better bout high school but not as good as i feel about middle school -advice- the guy is he nice and respectful??? thats a big factor when ur goin out with an older guy..just get to know him better let him know that u can be mature and you like him..when you see him dress cute (not trampy but just cute lol)

Hi Lisi I have a question, have you considered makeing a real Glossip Girl Lip Gloss Line? Because if you haven’t you should realy consider it cause i would buy it and so would all the other clique fans. You should also make a jewelry line and have Massie’s old and new charm braclet and have some different stuff that has to do with the clique. (You can use my name.)

soo thanks for at the constructive criticism everyone! i guess story writing isnt my thing. i mean i’ll just stick too writing poetry.
and i agree blaire. i think we should be talking more about the clique movie and lisi and stuff. im really really excited for the movei!!! but good job on the stories that yall wrote they sounded just like the clique about rich pretty girls. mine was really different i get that. i wasnt going for rich pretty girl. sorry if it was confusing. thanks for stating your opinion.
lisi i have a queston for you: all your books are about snobby mean pretty rich girls. do you think that will help girls? i really like layne. shes a really cool character. shes not snobby rich pretty or mean. shes unique. she will help girls. people can disagree with me and i know they will. but i am really realizing something. i dont think that the image that your sending out is a good message for girls. i know they’re books and they are fictional but girls read them and probably wish they were like massie or something. girls should love themselves. and cliques are bad. all of this just came across me just now. it just washed over me. i dont know how. dont get me wrong i seriously love your books but i dunno. this feeling just came over me. and i know many people after this will tell me that i am wrong but i dont know it just came out. i feel girls need to be….happy, themselves, nice…..not obsess over whether they think they are pretty or not. im really sorry to put this on you but maybe you could consider doing layne’s point of view. i really dont know what to feel right now. i still love your books but i think about all the girls in middle school wanting to be “popular”, having eating disorders, thinking they are fat, thinking they are ugly and just being it middle school. middle school is so hard. all the peer pressure. and i know your books are fictional but still. they are probably impacting many girls’ lives. maybe for the good but maybe for the bad. now i am going to end my little outburst and i fully expect many people to disagree. go ahead. im ready. i dont care. im going to try to live a good life in middle school and not care about how i look, how much i way, how people think of me. im going to branch out. maybe one day i will change the world. (that may have sounded chessy but im really being serious)

i figured you might get bored just reading things like LISI U ROCK and LISI I LOVE YOUR BOOKS. so im gonna write a little short (Emphasis on Short) story for you. spur of the moment!
here goes:
Raspberry Orange
Raspberries are red, right? Right. So why was my smoothie an ivory pink? Just another backwards story in life. Actually, that only applies to my life. I sucked out the last bits of berry at the bottom of my cup. I bit my lip. I pulled at the hem of my shirt. “It’s fine,” my mother had said as she rushed out the door and handed me my little sister’s Hannah Montana shirt. “Look, Lucy,” she had said as she had backed out of the driveway. “All your other clothes are in the wash so either wear that or don’t go.”
You read right. HANNAH MONTANA. To a huge Hollywood audition, nonetheless. “Carter, Lucy?” My head snapped up. The lady motioned for me to follow her. I walked into a room to audition for Emma Rossingdale the director of over 12 smash hits. My teeth chattered with excitement. The rush I felt was like caffeine to my brain. I smiled on the outside but on the inside the fuzzy caterpillars had yet to turn into butterflies. I clutched my stomach. “Let’s begin Carter,” said Emma. “Carter? Carter?” I looked her in the eye and threw up all over her new shoes. I closed my eyes as my body shook. I opened one eye. Pink-orange chunks were surrounding Emma Rossingdale’s shoes. “You have the part,” she said, “anyone who can vomit on command is a good actress. Congratulations.”
